Moose
Moose meat is lean and protein-rich with a strong and genuine game flavour. It can be cooked wonderfully well in many different ways.
Larger bulls can reach a bow height of up to 2 metres and weigh almost 1,000 kg. An adult moose can eat 50 kg of plants per day and despite its size, the moose can move very smoothly and move quickly if it senses danger.
About 80,000 moose are shot every year in Sweden. The entire moose population is stable at 350,000 moose, making Sweden the country with the highest concentration of moose in the world.
