Bear burgers is very good when combined with other slightly, heavier flavors. This is an example where the whiskey taste can be combined with the taste of the grilled bear meat in a very good way. The recipe is developed by @freddevidgrillen

Ingredients

2 bear burgers

2 burger buns

2 yellow onions

1 tbsp liquid honey

Butter

Whisky according to taste

2,5 tbsp mayonnaise (Hellmans)

1 tbsp Greek yoghurt
-
1 tsp american mustard
-
1 tbsp whisky
-
1 tsp liquid honey

1 bag mixed, shredded cabbage and carrots

1 red onion
-
2 dl Greek yoghurt
-
1 dl mayonnaise (Hellmans)

0,5 tbsp liquid honey
-
Salt and black pepper

Coleslaw
Instructions
Whisky onions
Slice the onion and fry it in butter.
When it has become soft and slightly colored, add honey and whisky. Stir and let it fry. Be careful not to burn the onion.
Whisky dressing
Mix everything together in a bowl.
Season with garlic powder, salt and black pepper.
Coleslaw
Split the red onion in half and slice it thinly.
Mix the onion with the white cabbage and carrots in a bowl.
Mix in the rest of the ingredients and stir around.
If it feels too dry, take a little more of the yogurt and mayonnaise.
Season with salt and black pepper.
Place in the fridge until serving.
Bear burgers
Grill (or fry) the bear burgers on both sides on direct (high) heat.
Build it as follows: bread, whiskey dressing, whiskey onions, burger, cheddar cheese, whiskey onions, whiskey dressing, bread.
Other
Alternatively, you can skip the cheddar cheese and/or coleslaw.
