About the product
Moose calf tenderloin is one of the finest cuts from Sweden’s forests. Because it comes from a calf, the meat is especially tender and has a milder game flavour than meat from an adult moose. It’s an excellent choice for both game lovers and anyone trying moose for the first time.
We sell whole tenderloins only. If you order a 500 g moose calf tenderloin, you’ll receive one whole piece rather than several smaller pieces. Cook it gently and serve it with a rich game sauce, oven-roasted root vegetables and chanterelles fried in butter. A full-bodied red wine pairs beautifully with it.
The meat is shipped vacuum-packed and frozen.

Have not eaten it yet!
Very tender it was! but was a little disappointed when I opened the package and saw that it was cut so it could not be cooked in the oven. So it had to be the frying pan, but it was good.
Ordered as a Christmas present by my mother in Sweden, we got a whole moose fillet sent to France. Very fast delivery, perfect packaging with effective cooling clamps and sheep wool. The meat was still rock hard when it arrived. Cooked according to all the rules of the art, it was much appreciated by everyone and probably the tenderest meat we have ever eaten. It was a good Christmas! Thanks for the perfect service and fantastic quality!

I ate only small cut pieces so far. Unfortunately I found them a bit "tough"
I will eat the larger piece this month. It looked good. We will see.
