Rowanberry jelly, like blackcurrant jelly, is a classic accompaniment to game meat. It has a mild, fine flavour and is also luxuriously good to use on sandwiches. The rowan berries are picked in the countryside around Piteå in Norrbotten.
The rowan berry jelly comes in a hexagonal jar.
For 100 g of jelly, 65 g of raw fruit has been used.
