The funnel chanterelle, or autumn mushroom as it is also called, is very good in game sauce, in pies, on toast, stew, etc. They grow quite late in the autumn and are a very good food mushroom.
Use: Crumble it directly into sauce, soup or stew. You can also soak it for at least 30 minutes and then use it as a fresh mushroom.
10g of dried chanterelles is equivalent to 120-150g of fresh mushrooms.
