Rentunga is a delicacy that we can highly recommend. We think it is best if you first boil it together with vegetables, slice it up and finally quickly fry the tongue pieces in butter on high heat. Then it actually reminds us of fried reindeer fillet. There's a very good recipe for this in the cookbook Smak på Sápmi i (page 81). The book has three more recipes involving reindeer tongue.

The package of sole is sent vacuum-packed and frozen.

    • Same working day: Greater Stockholm, Enköping, Norrtälje, Nynäshamn, Södertälje and Uppsala
    • 1 working day: The majority of our mailings that do not have same working day delivery
    • 2-3 working days: Other addresses in Sweden. Usually those that are not close to urban centres

    This applies to orders placed on weekdays before 11.00 am. Some delay may occur, but 97% of our deliveries arrive on time without problems.

    Pure tongue - not tried.

    I will review it when I have tried it, but if it is the same quality as the lightly smoked dried reindeer meat, I am satisfied.

    Clean tongue

    It was not to my satisfaction. I have bought from another game store before, where it was bigger. Here it was 4 pieces of 100 grams. But the taste was nothing to complain about.
