Thinly sliced moose leg is a perfect dish that can be cooked quickly over an open fire or in a large pan. As a recipe, we would suggest the recipe for venison caviar (page 158) from the game cookbook The chef and the hunter, but swap the deer shoulder for this moose shoulder.

The gourmet shoulder is much finer than the "shoulder" you unfortunately often find in the grocery store. Our ham is made in the "real" way, i.e. we have taken a steak that is still slightly frozen and then sliced it into thin slices. This results in large and fine pieces.

      • Same working day: Greater Stockholm, Enköping, Norrtälje, Nynäshamn, Södertälje and Uppsala
      • 1 working day: The majority of our mailings that do not have same working day delivery
      • 2-3 working days: Other addresses in Sweden. Usually those that are not close to urban centres

      This applies to orders placed on weekdays before 11.00 am. Some delay may occur, but 97% of our deliveries arrive on time without problems.

      Tried it this weekend and really good, Swedish Wild often has good stuff but is unfortunately quite expensive. But this time I took the opportunity when they had a sale. Complained that it was out but then there was an email that new delivery was available. Good service that way.
