The king of mushrooms is called the king of mushrooms for a reason. This is a sauce that you can safely use in any dish where you want the mushroom flavor to come through. It goes wonderfully well with game meat.
Feel free to experiment and vary with different types of herbs. Creamy pasta dishes, for example, are very good with porcini mushroom sauce and cream.
Do this: Boil the contents of one bag together with 3 dl cream and 1.5 dl milk. Feel free to add some butter-fried mushrooms. Dilute with more cream for a fuller taste. Strain or boil down until you get the consistency you want.
One bag yields about 5 dl of finished sauce.
